We are so excited to introduce Australian designer Karen Willis Holmes to the Union studio! Meeting Karen, it is obvious each bridal gown design she creates is a labour of love—a series of hand beaded sequin and embellished gowns for the sophisticated bride who wants to shine! Below are a few of our favourites from the Luxe collection by Karen Willis Holmes.

A KWH bride is not afraid to express her individuality; she appreciates detailing, values the skills of our seamstresses and expresses her style with confidence and poise.

The Art Deco design lines of the Cassie wedding dress is the standout feature of this dress. The high neckline and long sleeves compliment the dramatic diamond shape cut-out back. The Cassie is elegant, modern and so regal.

Annette has a fabulous high neck, a little short raglan sleeve, it’s one of the only wedding gowns with a sleeve of this length in the collection. The skirt is cut on the bias so she is nice and clingy. I wanted the fabric to be more of a fabric rather than a heavily beaded gown. It is very delicate and very refined.

Cindy is the ultimate halterneck wedding gown, beautiful scalloped accent beading frames the neckline flowing over a sequin beaded shoulder and finished with a gorgeous statement cut-out back detail. Show off those shoulders and make an entrance.

Anya is the ultimate sequin wedding gown. She is iconic to KAREN WILLIS HOLMES and boasts minimal elegance. Delicate spaghetti straps and a completely beaded and sequinned bias skirt give you a stunning form-fitting shape. Anya makes for an incredible reception gown too and the perfect gown to shorten after your wedding.

So flattering and polished, the Fontanne wedding dress is refined elegance with statement sequin panel lines framed by a V-neck bodice and extremely flattering bias cut skirt. Due to the weight of the sequins, this dress is flattering across all shapes and sizes.
